2022 Storiarts + LitWorld Impact Report

GIVING TUESDAY: We're tripling our donation to Litworld today!

A great story doesn't stop at 'The End'. It continues to stir up ideas and feelings and shape who we are. That's why we love partnering with LitWorld because they know that literacy isn't just about reading but its effects on our values, our relationships, and the communities we touch.

Every single purchase from Storiarts supports the efforts of LitWorld to make literacy accessible to kids and adults around the globe. It's through you that we are able to make such an impact for good! Thank you for your joining us in bringing good stories and great endings to so many.

Thanks to your purchases in 2022, we were able to:

• Support an entire year of LitClubs and community programming for children and caregivers in and around Kampala, Uganda with Art of a Child Uganda. This allowed the partner organization to run fifteen LitClubs, directly serving over 300 kids and adults.
• Provide materials and training for 27 LitClubs running in Honduras, giving remote communities access to literacy and safe mentoring spaces.
• Sponsor Community Action Projects led by LitClub members in Mississippi, Maryland, and Alabama, which focused on learning about the environment and keeping learning how to keep their communities healthy.
• Support an overnight LitCamp for 80 children in Ahmedabad, India which allowed members to spend three days interacting with literacy in a child-friendly environment outside of the city.
• Contribute to the launch of the Adult Literacy Classes in Faisalabad, Pakistan, enrolling 80 adults into classes which gave them access to literacy materials and a supportive environment to read and write.
